Inconspicuous Pi

Another Pi project, these are popping up thick and fast. This one I really like, disguising a Pi as a power brick as not to raise suspicion if dropped during a pen test or *other situation*. Power is provided to the Pi via mains lead and the innards of a USB mains charger so not to pump 230v straight into the poor Pi 🙂 a cat5 cable has been pushed out of the other side of the brick for access to the network. Once powered, the Pi will initiate a reverse SSH tunnel to the destination of your choice.

Simple but effective disguise, I have never known anyone check power bricks during an audit. However, a keen auditor should spot a mains lead & brick looping back into an ethernet wall port!

A really cool guide has been provided here:

Have fun!
